The North East route began with “Pause for a Cause” at the Waukegan City Hall. About 60 people gathered and at 10:00 am everyone froze for 2 minutes…then we began chants about freedom for people with developmental disabilities in Illinois. The mayor, chief of police and other city staff stopped by to discuss the issues with the riders.
